Send free SMSs with Suntel .....

Suntel WOW site offers a service named "Suntel WOW SMS" to send SMSs freely to phones in Sri Lanka. Once you are registered you will be provided with a Suntel phone number for yourself. SMSs can be received to that number. Among the local networks which SMSs can be sent to are Suntel, Dialog, tiGO and Mobitel. There are limitations to send SMSs also. Here are the maximum SMSs allowed to send in a day.

Suntel - 15
Dialog - 5
tiGO - 15
Mobitel - 15

Unlimited messages can be sent to WOW users.

The number you want to send SMSs must first be added to the list of contacts. When you add Mobitel or tiGO numbers in contact it will be only listed after the confirmation of the user of the particular number (for example suppose you added the number 071xxxxxxx to the contacts. A message will be sent to 071xxxxxxx asking to allow you to send SMSs to that number. If the reply of 071xxxxxxx is "YES", the contact will be listed, if "NO", the contact will be rejected and the contact will be in a pending status until 071xxxxxxx replies).
